Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation hosted V Conference on International Security. The Conference was held in Moscow on April 27-28, 2016.

Fighting terrorism was the main topic of the Conference. Moreover, security issues of Asian-Pacific region, war and peace problems in Europe as well as global security and military interaction were discussed at the Forum.

The special attention was paid to discussion of contradictions in the Middle East region, traditional and new challenges and threats of the international security, role of the Armed Forces in countering “colour” revolutions as providing security in the Central Asia.
