Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation H.E. Prof. M.D. Lamawansa accompanied by Gp. Capt. Uditha Piyasena, Defence Attache - Counsellor paid visit to the Security Council of the Russian Federation. The guests were received by Mr. Dmitry Valdaev, Senior Director for International Security Affairs.

The conversation focused on several matters of mutual concern with regard to regional and global security. The priority areas for collaboration between the two countries were also discussed.
