“SRI LANKAN WEEK – 2021” IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
21 – 27 November 2021
With a view to promote Sri Lankan culture, tourism, tea, batik, arts and handicrafts, etc. to a wider community in Russia, the Embassy of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation with the support of Sri Lankan and Russian Authorities, well-wishers in Sri Lanka and Sri Lankan Business and Professional Community in Russia will organize a “Sri Lankan Week” in Russia from 21-27 November 2021.
A number of events will be held in different locations around Moscow and St. Petersburg, including concerts, cultural performances, exhibitions, master classes and presentations on Sri Lanka.
Parallel to the Cultural Week the event, the Embassy will commence online Art, Essay, Speech, and Photo Competitions for school and University students in Russia and those who love Sri Lanka.
The winners will receive certificates and memorable gifts. The best 10 competitors will receive Certificates of Appreciation.
