Prof. Janitha A. Liyanage, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Russian Federation, visited the Moscow Metropolitan Governance Yury Luzhkov University and held a meeting with Prof. Vasily Fiveysky, Rector and other representatives of the University on 27th December 2021.

The parties discussed the progress towards establishing a sound cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka and decided to develop a roadmap for future collaboration, putting special emphasis to education and postgraduate training in the sphere of public service.
The Moscow Metropolitan Governance Yury Luzhkov University was founded in 1994. Since its inception, it prepares students for public service in the spheres of finance, city management, etc. It also arranges practical training in Departments and Ministries both locally and abroad. The goal of the programme is to provide the students with experience pertaining to city management in other countries. Its main priority is offering programmes for Moscow top management engaged in public service.
