On 7th October 2022 H.E. the Ambassador invited journalists from the leading Mass Media of Russia to highlight the latest breaking news of the tourism sector of Sri Lanka.

In collaboration with the Russian tour operator Pantheon along with the press conference a seminar for 35 leading travel agencies in Russia was conducted where the Embassy representatives delivered the information on the direct flights, latest visa requirements, spoke about the work being done by the Embassy to organize the possibility of transferring funds from Russia to Sri Lanka, the most interesting excursions and attractions of the island and restoring the image of Sri Lanka as totally safety destination. The speech was accompanied by a comprehensive presentation.
