Embassy of Sri Lanka in Moscow is pleased to facilitate a leading Russian entrepreneur and business consultant specialised for e-commerce, to incorporate a private limited company called Weles Trading (Pvt) Limited in Sri Lanka with the aim of promoting Sri Lanka export via online marketing channels to Russian market.

Under this initiative, prospective Sri Lankan exporters will be able to utilise the most prominent online marketing platforms in Russia in order to showcase their products to a massive customer base in Russia in collaboration with the Weles Trading (Pvt) Limited located in Colombo.
Subsequent to the business forum conducted in Colombo in June 2022 in liaison with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry in Sri Lanka and the Export Development Board, in order to boost the awareness of Sri Lankan exporters about the e-commerce and online marketing, the said company incorporation comes into existence.
This Embassy is of the view that this initiative will open up a wide range of opportunities for Sri Lankan companies to enter into Russian market beyond the traditional business horizons.
