On 18th May 2023, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Moscow took part in the International Forum "Best Investment Projects 2023" delivering a presentation with a main focus on Port City in Colombo, Hambantota Industrial Park, projects coming under UDA and other lucrative investment opportunities in Sri Lanka.

The attention of the major Russian investors was also attracted to the BOI projects and the services provided by the BOI for foreign investors was elaborated in depth in a Q & A session followed by the presentation.
The event attracted qualified investors, representatives of funds, owners and top managers of medium and large scale businesses aimed at international development. Projects from the BRICS countries were also presented.
