H.E. the Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Moscow, prof. Janitha A. Liyanage, invites Russian brands to produce their apparel collections on the factories of Sri Lanka.

At the meeting with the owner of one of the largest apparel brands in Russia, FINN FLARE, which took place at the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Moscow on November 30, 2023, H.E. The Ambassador and Mr. Indika Liyanahewage, President of the Sri Lanka Apparel Exporters Association, discussed the opportunities of cooperation with garments enterprises in Sri Lanka and entering the Russian market.
FINN FLARE is an international retail chain of apparel and accessories stores for women and men. The FINN FLARE trademark was registered in 1965 in Finland.
Since 2006, the president of the company has been the former director of the Moscow representative office. Today the company owns its own and partner network of more than 200 stores in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.
The company provides support to the Russian Paralympic team and the sports competition for disabled children. FINN FLARE helps an orphanage, sponsors various festivals, participates in charity auctions, etc.
During the meeting, the Russian side expressed interest in cooperation, to develop relations with enterprises of friendly countries.
