On 07 May 2024 Ms. Ruvini Munidasa, Chargé d'Affaires a. i. of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Russia, participated in the Inauguration Ceremony of the Russian President.

H. E. Vladimir Putin was sworn in as President of Russia for the 5th time and the solemn ceremony took place in the Kremlin Palace. President Putin took the oath to the people of Russia in the presence of Federation Council members, members of the State Duma, judges of the Russian Constitutional Court, representatives of the foreign Diplomatic Missions, Russian officials representing the political, military, cultural spheres.
