Development of bilateral business cooperation was discussed on July 3 at a meeting between Vice-President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Padalko and Chargé d'Affaires of Sri Lanka in Russia, Ambassador P. M. Amza.
During the meeting, Vladimir Padalko spoke about the structure of the Chamber and its place in the Russian business community. The parties also discussed possibilities of Russian investment in the fuel and energy complex, investment in hospitality sector in Sri Lanka and the prospects for the development of Sri Lankan tourism in Russia.
The Charge d'Affaires of Sri Lanka noted the stable nature of bilateral relations and expressed interest in developing cooperation between the chambers of commerce of the two countries. The parties agreed to develop business contacts.
