The Moscow Association of Military Attaches (MAMA) Football World Cup 2024 was held at the football field, British Canadian Embassy, Moscow on 7th September 2024.

On the sidelines, under the guidance of Ambassador Amza, Head of Sri Lanka Mission in Russia, Group Captain Sanoj Jayaratne, Counsellor Defence, conducted a Ceylon tea promotion campaign.
MAMA being one of the international Military communities with highest number of Military diplomats, more than hundred individuals representing more than 40 counties took part in the event.
All participants had the opportunity of tasting different teas from seven regions of Sri Lanka and they were so generous in praising of the unique experience that they had for the first time. They were eager to know more about Ceylon tea which the demonstrators very proffessionaly and enthusiastically provided.
All were delighted to receive the tea packs distributed during the promotion with the courtesy of Hiran Karunaratne, Chairman, Hyleys Tea Company Russia.
