The first day of the 26th Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition successfully ended with the dinner arranged for the delegation of Sri Lankan Participants of MITT 2019. The Dinner was attended by the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation H.E. Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka and Madame Sanja Jayatilleka, and was hosted by Ms. Chathurika Perera, the Second Secretary (Commercial) of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Moscow.

MITT Exhibition is the largest travel event in Russia and CIS, which attracts tour operators, travel agencies and other companies involved in the tourism industry from many countries of the world. Sri Lanka was represented by the Tourism Promotion Bureau with 13 travel traders this year.
Ambassador Jayatilleka, Mrs. Madubhani Perera, Marketing Director of the SLTPB, and the Sri Lankan delegates discussed importance of further development of Sri Lanka – Russia relations in the tourism sphere.
