On 23 February 2021, at the building of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Moscow, Group Captain Uditha Piyasena, representing the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Russia, attended a dinner hosted for the Executive Director of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) HE Ambassador Kairat Sarybay, at the invitation extended by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan HE Kosherbayev Yermek. The dinner was also attended by the Ambassador of Bangladesh to the Russian Federation HE Kamrul Ahsan.
