At the invitation of the faction of the Communist Party in the Moscow City Duma, on 29 January 2024 seven Sri Lankan students of the Moscow Aviation Institute and the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia visited the Moscow Parliament.

The students from Sri Lanka, India, Laos and Russia met a Deputy, participated in an excursion around the buildings of Duma, visited the Deputy's office, took photos and received souvenirs. The students greatly appreciated the opportunity to be introduced to the legislative branch of the Moscow City Government and ask questions on the functioning of the capital Duma.
