Ambassador P. M. Amza, accompanied by the Embassy officials, visited Moscow Region State Vocational College Energy on 23 July 2024 to discuss cooperation in the sphere of vocational training.

Vocational College Energy provides professional training to more than 10 000 Russian and foreign students in various fields, such as mechanical engineering, construction, metalworking, robotics, information systems and programming, meteorology, services, pharmacy, nursing, hotel business, etc.
Mr. Neres Neresyan, Director of the College, and his staff gave a tour to the Ambassador around the College campus and demonstrated the workshops for Additive Technologies, Welding, Hairdressing, Advanced Vocational Training Center and the Technopark of the College.
The sides held a constructive discussion on the possible directions of cooperation between the College and respective Sri Lankan institutions for mutually beneficial development of vocational training in both countries.
