On February 15, 2019 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation H.E. Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka and Madame Sanja Jayatilleka visited the Headquarters of the United Russia Party, Moscow. The guests were received by the Head of the Department for International Relations Ms. Valeria Gorokhova.

United Russia, primarily the party of President Vladimir Putin, the founder of the party and the national leader of the Russian Federation, is the most successful political party in the history of modern Russia.
Ambassador Jayatilleka and V.Gorokhova discussed international relations issues, the development of interaction between the political parties globally and the coming General Executive Committee meeting of the Party to which Ambassador Jayatilleka is invited.
