Meeting between Kursk State Medical University and University of Moratuwa
With coordination of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation, and participation of Prof. Janitha A. Liyanage, H. E. the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Moscow, a meeting was held between the Kursk State Medical University (KSMU), Russia, and the University of Moratuwa on 18 November 2022.

At the invitation of Prof. Irina Kraeva, Rector of the Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU), on 18 November 2022 Prof. Janitha A. Liyanage, H. E. the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation, paid a visit to the University, which specializes in training translators and interpreters.

Sri Lankan delegation including Hon. Susil Premajayanth, Special representative of the President of Sri Lanka, Minister of Education, Hon. Nalin Fernando, Minister of Trade, Commerce and Food Security of Sri Lanka, and H.E. Prof. Janitha A. Liyanage, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Russia continued a series of high-level meetings in Russia. In particular, there were the meetings with the Co-Chair of the Inter-Governmental Commission (IGC) H.E. Mr. Shestakov, Rector of RUDN university, President of Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Secretary General of Russian Association of International Cooperation.
