Sri Lanka Trading House in the Kursk region

On 25 October 2021,Dr. Mohamad Chahine, Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Kursk paid a courtesy call on Ambassador H. E. Prof. Janitha A. Liyanage. The discussion mainly focused on the establishment of a Sri Lanka Trading House in the Kursk region and the strengthening of Sri Lanka's engagement within the areas of jurisdiction of Dr. Chahine.

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Russia organized a meeting with the participation of Hony. Consul of Sri Lanka in Saint Petersburg, the National Crafts Council and the Sri Lanka Handicrafts Board to discuss the possible ways of opening branches of Laksala and Lak Shilpa in line with the establishment of Sri Lankan Houses in several Russian cities.
