An old good tradition of having the Embassy Cricket Cup among the Sri Lankan student community in Russia was resumed in Moscow over this weekend. The Cup was organized by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Moscow and sponsored by Sri Lankan business diaspora.

The XI annual international exhibition for industrial trade affair "INNOPROM-2021" was held from 5-8 July 2021. INNOPROM is the main industrial, trade and export platform held in Ekaterinburg, Russia annually since 2010, which serves as a platform where the foundations of industrial policy are laid. About 80% of the exhibition visitors are professional buyers from around the world, specialists from industrial enterprises, who make decisions about the introduction of new products and technologies in the production.

July 07, 2021, Colombo: SriLankan Airlines the National Carrier of Sri Lanka and a member of the oneworld alliance resumes flights to the Russian capital, Moscow. SriLankan's new service will operate a weekly scheduled flight between Colombo's Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) and Moscow's Domodedovo Airport (DME) from 30th July 2021.
