In the framework of the visit to the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum which was held from 2-5 June 2021, Sri Lankan delegation led by Hon. Wimal Weerawansa, Minister of Industries of Sri Lanka and Hon. Ajith Nivard Cabraal State Minister of Money & Capital Market and State Enterprise Reforms of Sri Lanka visited the Hermitage museum in St. Petersburg. H.E. Prof. M.D. Lamawansa, Ambassador of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation also joined the two Sri Lankan ministers in this visit.

Besides the visit to the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum which was held from 2-5 June 2021, Hon. Wimal Weerawansa, Minister of Industries of Sri Lanka and Hon. Ajith Nivard Cabraal State Minister of Money & Capital Market and State Enterprise Reforms of Sri Lanka met Sri Lankan students based in St. Petersburg, Russia. H.E. Prof. M.D. Lamawansa, Ambassador of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation also joined the two Sri Lankan ministers in the meeting.

In the framework of the visit to the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum which was held from 2-5 June 2021, Sri Lankan delegation led by Hon. Wimal Weerawansa, Minister of Industries of Sri Lanka and Hon. Ajith Nivard Cabraal State Minister of Money & Capital Market and State Enterprise Reforms of Sri Lanka visited the Tea Center/museum in St. Petersburg, Russia and had a cordial discussion with the Russia-Sri Lanka Friendship society, St. Petersburg chapter- which was newly established chapter works closely with the main society in Moscow.

While attending the XXIV International Economic Forum which was held from 2-5 June 2021 in St. Petersburg in Russian Federation, the Sri Lankan delegation led by Hon. Wimal Weerawansa, Minister of Industries of Sri Lanka and Hon. Ajith Nivard Cabraal State Minister of Money & Capital Market and State Enterprise Reforms of Sri Lanka had fruitful discussion with successful Sri Lankan entrepreneurs based in Moscow, Russia. H.E. Prof. M.D. Lamawansa, Ambassador of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation also joined the meeting in Moscow.

The Sri Lankan delegation led by Hon. Wimal Weerawansa, Minister of Industries of Sri Lanka and Hon. Ajith Nivard Cabraal State Minister of Money & Capital Market and State Enterprise Reforms of Sri Lanka who visited the XXIV International Economic Forum which was held from 2-5 June 2021 in St. Petersburg in Russian Federation, had fruitful discussion with high-end entrepreneurs based in St. Petersburg, Russia. H.E. Prof. M.D. Lamawansa, Ambassador of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation also joined the two Sri Lankan ministers in these meetings in St. Petersburg.

Ajith Nivard Cabraal State Minister of Money & Capital Market and State Enterprise Reforms of Sri Lanka had the opportunity to meet Mr. Stanislav korolev, Deputy Secretary General of the Eurasian People Assembly for International Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Nature Management and Ecology of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
