Embassy of Sri Lanka in Moscow celebrates Vesak on 23 May 2024
The staff of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Moscow celebrated the Vesak festival on the eve of 23 May 2024 by offering buddha Pooja at the Buddha shrine at the Embassy. The Embassy premises was decorated with colourful display of Vesak lanterns, lights and Buddhist flags as part of the celebration of the birth, enlightenment and the parinirvana of Lord Gauthama Buddha.
