On December 1, 2023, the Embassy of Sri Lanka, together with the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), organized a meeting with Russian entrepreneurs of the President of the Sri Lanka Apparel Exporters Association, Mr. Indika Liyanahewage.

At the invitation of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) in the framework of the South Asia Week, on 24 November 2023 Prof. Janitha A. Liyanage, H. E. the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation, delivered a lecture to the students of the University.
