The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Moscow is pleased to announce that Azur Air, one of the leading private airlines in the Russian Federation, is scheduled to operate direct flights to Sri Lanka with effect from the 02nd November 2022.

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation organized on 20 October 2022 a meeting between the autonomous non-profit organization of higher education Innopolis University, the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka and the Open University of Sri Lanka.

HSE-Ula

In the framework of the Embassy efforts to establish links between Russian and Sri Lankan Universities, on 18 October 2022 an online meeting was held between the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) and the Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka.

Polessky

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation, concurrently accredited to the Republic of Belarus, organized on 17 October 2022 an introductory online meeting between the Polessky State University, Republic of Belarus, and University of Kelaniya. The meeting was organized as a result of the visit of Prof. Janitha A. Liyanage, H. E. the Ambassador of Sri Lanka, to Minsk and the discussions held in the Ministry of Education of the Republic.
